Supporting Workers During the LA Wildfires with Free Virtual Healthcare Services

As wildfires continue to impact the Los Angeles area, WorkWhile is stepping up to support our flex work community and their families during this challenging time. We’re proud to partner with Curai Health to offer a free month of virtual healthcare services to active platform users in affected areas.

Curai Health provides 24/7 access to board-certified doctors through a simple, easy-to-use platform. Whether you need advice for minor health concerns, assistance managing chronic conditions, or a doctor’s note, Curai is always within reach — no insurance required.

We’ve seen firsthand how virtual healthcare services transform lives. One member of our community shared:

“My doctor and the clinic team are awesome to the core. Thank you for understanding and helping me feel better. Even if it’s just a little, it’s honestly the small things that count. I appreciate you guys, thank you!”

With thousands of platform users already signed up for Curai memberships through our partnership, we’ve been able to make a real difference:

  • Without access to virtual healthcare, 25.2% would have gone to urgent care, and 22.6% to the ER.
  • Another 21.7% admitted they might have done nothing, potentially delaying necessary care.

This initiative underscores the importance of accessible, reliable medical advice, especially during emergencies like these wildfires. We’re grateful to Curai for partnering with us to share the cost of this program, ensuring essential support is available to those who need it most.

To everyone in affected areas: Stay safe, take care of yourselves, and know that we’re here to support you.
